What is "Top Tables Kitchen"?

Top Tables Kitchen is the evolution of the Top Tables brand. In addition to our yearly awards guide (naming the city’s best restaurants) and our series of Champions dinners, Top Tables Kitchen is a takeaway and delivery service for the city’s best restaurants. It’s a premium takeaway and delivery platform. All of the restaurants at launch appeared in our Top Tables Guide for 2020, so you know they’re legit. See a full list of venues here.

What restaurants are participating?

As of launch, we have 12 venues, many of them with Michelin stars and all of them appear in our Top Tables Guide for 2020. You can check out the full list of venues here. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue adding new venue partners to this list. So expect things to continue growing as the program moves along. Make sure to check in for updates every once in a while.

How much does it cost?

That is up to the venues and their menus. Unlike Top Tables Champions, which featured set menus at set prices, Top Tables Kitchen uses an ordering and checkout system similar to other delivery and takeaway services like Food Panda and Line Man. You see the items you want, add them to your cart, and pay.

How does the delivery work?

Right now, Top Tables Kitchen does not handle delivery directly. Instead, we allow the venues themselves to handle the delivery part. If you choose “delivery” while placing your order, we will ask for your address. We will then send that information, along with your contact details, to the restaurants. They will arrange the delivery from there.

How long does it take for my food to be ready?

The time it takes will differ based on the venue. Each venue has provided an estimated time for food preparation. That time will be visible when you place your order in our booking widget. Delivery can add up to 30 minutes of time to the overall preparation. So if an order will be ready 15 minutes after you place it, then you can expect it to arrive no later than 45 minutes after you place the order if you have selected delivery as an option.

If there is a problem with my order, what do I do?

For basic issues, such as a late order or an incorrect item, we encourage customers to contact the venues directly — you will be sent their contact information after you place your order. If you contact a venue about a problem and you don’t find their response adequate, or if you are not able to get in touch with the venue, you can contact our Top Tables Kitchen support team through Line (@BKMagazine).

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to seek a refund for an order, please contact the Top Tables Kitchen support team through Line (@BKMagazine). In order for a refund to be processed, our support team will need to conduct an investigation with both you and the restaurant. This means they might ask some questions about your experience with the specific order.

What is the notification process for diners?

We send you an SMS notification and an email when the order has been accepted by the venue.

I got an SMS message that the venue has cancelled y order. Why did they do this and what happens?

In rare situations, a venue will need to cancel your order for various reasons (perhaps they ran out of ingredients or had a technical issue). If the venue cancels your order, any funds will be immediately returned to you. In some cases, a restaurant might contact you directly to solve an issue instead of cancelling.
